Welcome to the home page for But of Quartz!

The site is being redone. Never fear! A whole new look, new merchandise, and a new attitude!

The primary purpose of this site is to serve as a gallery of pictures and information about the various jewelry and related products I create, which will be available by request. only. As yet, I have not decided to sell on eBay or through any other online media, but will be happy to take requests and make sales directly via email through this website.  I do ask that you bear with me in terms of making things easier -- I am working on it!

In the meantime, I've updated the merchandise page...

Feel free to check it out. Remember, updates will appear as often as I can make them and like my creations, this site is an ongoing work in progress! Thanks for your continuing patience!  Please be warned, the merchandise page is rather graphics-heavy at the moment so may take a while to load.

I am also available, within reason, to take commissioned projects.  If there is a particular pendant you would like strung, or a certain stone or color that holds a strong attraction for you, please feel free to contact me and let me know.

I am fascinated by the metaphysical properties of those stones that I use (all of which are as natural as possible.  Some may be dyed but I don't use "fake" materials) but I am not prepared to list those properties at this time.  What I suggest is, for those who are interested, there are many sites available on the web and books available in bookstores and libraries alike.  My personal reference of preference (yes, that was entirely deliberate) is Melody's Love is in the Earth: A Kaleidoscope of Crystals; admittedly it is neither small nor inexpensive but it is very thorough and informative regarding many aspects of crystals and crystal healing, as well as some meditation techniques.

I can be reached at Sales@ButOfQuartz.com with questions, comments, or requests for specific pieces or more information.  This site was last updated on 10/14/03 and will continue to undergo moderate to heavy construction, reconstruction, and redesigning until further notice.  Again, please bear with me.

I thank you for your patience and hope that you will continue to visit the site periodically to see what's happening.  Until then, best always and thanks for checking in!
